CARIDAD MORO-GRONLIER is the author of the chapbook Tortillera, the winner of the TRP Southern Poetry Breakthrough Series: Florida, and Visionware.
Tortillera chronicles the life of a Cuban-American daughter, wife and mother as she dismantles the existence she was taught to want in order to evolve into the queer woman she was born to be.
Congratulations to Caridad Moro-Gronlier for winning the TRP Southern Poetry Breakthrough Prize: Florida! We look forward to publishing Tortillera in Spring 2021. The TRP Southern Poetry Breakthrough Series seeks to highlight a first full-length collection by emerging authors from each state in the southern U.S. Submissions open January 1st each year.
